Well, hello! I see you’ve stumbled on my page. Welcome, welcome.
If you’re here, you’re probably wondering who I am. I’m Elizabeth, but I’d prefer it if you called me Liz. Honestly, I’ve never liked it very much when people call me by my full name. I do like the name Elizabeth, but I guess Liz is just a lot friendlier; a lot warmer, in a sense. I guess I’m a little weird that way.
18 going on 19, I still feel like a kid sometimes and as I am often told, I look like one too. It probably has to do with my short stature, but someday I think I’ll be grateful for it. Still waiting.
I recently graduated from high school just two months ago, and I am currently looking for the next great adventure. My hobbies include cafe-hopping, baking and traveling, and this is pretty much what you’ll find in this little corner of the internet. I certainly hope to be able to pursue these hobbies in the next year ahead, amidst preparing for university and whatever lies beyond.
My internet moniker, trufflebeth, stems from my intense love for truffles. The mushroom, not the chocolate. To tell you the truth, I’m more of a vanilla girl (though I don’t mind some chocolate here or there). But back to the truffle. Its aroma is seductive, intoxicating, and as its flavour is directly linked to its aroma, there’s no surprise that it tastes fabulous. The best part is, you only need a small amount of it to be able to dress up a dish – testament to the fact that some of the best things come in small packages. (Like me! Hah, I kid.)
All photos on this blog are taken with my trusty iPhone 5, unless stated otherwise. Mostly edited with vscocam, my favourite photo-editing app in the entire world. If only they had a version for mac, my life would be quite complete. I also use afterlight occasionally.
Anyway, thank you for reading this page and my blog and do visit often! ♡
